ARTHUR NAKATA is an award-winning art director and graphic designer who was born in Honolulu, raised in Seattle, and schooled in NY City at Parsons School of Design. Working with some of the most respected agencies and studios in the country, his client roster has included Barneys New York, Details magazine, Macy's, Microsoft, Rhino Records, T-mobile, Walt Disney, as well as many niche brands. He has taught typography at the Art Institute of Santa Monica and was a guest speaker at USC Annenberg School of Communications.

KIM NAKATA has also won awards and accolades for her work as a copywriter and interactive writer. Her clients range from corporate giants to tiny startups, giving her quite a versatile voice. Yet she's honed expertise in travel, entertainment, restaurant/hospitality, consumer products and business-to-business sectors. Her client list includes Princess Cruises, Viking River Cruises, Eddie Bauer, REI, Macy's, Microsoft, Kaiser Permanente, The Seattle Times and The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Bank of America, The Walt Disney Company, and many boutique brands.

Although they consider Seattle home, this husband/wife team is based in sunny Los Angeles where they live with their two rescue dogs: Nina and Melvin.
